RESERVOIR-LEVEL CONTROLS

The Watertronics’ Reservoir Level Controls system provides the ability to easily monitor and control water levels in reservoirs like cisterns, ponds, and holding tanks.  Unlike traditional floats or probes which may be less precise, our system is managed by our level transducers via PLC controls with VirtualVisionTM TouchScreen, or remotely via Watervision® on your remote PC or web enabled device.  The system is unaffected by water quality and provides repeatability down to a fraction of an inch.

How does the process work?
Our Reservoir Level Controls system includes an electronic pressure transducer which sends a continuous signal to the system controls proportional to the reservoir level.  When a low water level is detected, the controls automatically correct by activating a fill pump or proportioning a control valve.  The control loop consequently adjusts the water source to maintain the desired reservoir level.

Key features include:
  • No moving parts.  All components are solid state.
  • The process is not affected by water quality, waves, or turbulence
  • Water level and alarm level set points are displayed in appropriate units for easy reference
  • All adjustments can be made electronically through our operator interface or remotely through Watervision.
  • Reservoir Level Controls display water level and alarm set-points in user-friendly touchscreen format.

The electronic pressure transducer sends a continuous signal to Controls to automatically adjust the water source and maintain desired reservoir level.
